A Tiny Bug with a Big Impact
Every now and then comes a once in a lifetime opportunity.
For six Canberra Primary School students the opportunity to work
with scientists at CSIRO Entomology was too good to pass up.
In 2004, six children participated in an innovative project led
by Dr John La Salle, head of the CSIRO’s Australian National
Insect Collection who thought it would be fun to get a few children
involved in identifying and describing a new wasp species. Thanks
to Blackwell
Publishing you can read
the article (500k) that they collectively
had published in the Australian Journal of Entomology.
