How can parents and teachers manage students who say they are bored? You will learn about the dynamics of boredom and how to develop strategies and skills to help you understand and help your child remain academically engaged. Parents and teachers will gain information that assists them to guide students towards involved, autonomous learning throughout their school years.

Michele Juratowitch is Director of Clearing Skies and provides support services for gifted children, adolescents, parents and professionals who work with the gifted. Michele has qualifications in Gifted Education and Counselling and has worked as a School Counsellor for over twenty years. In 2003, she was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to travel to the UK and the USA to study the counselling and intervention needs of gifted children, adolescents and families.
